Shire goalie Jamie Barclay went home from Hawick on Saturday with more than just three points.
He also collected his Ladbrokes Shire Player of the Month award for February which was presented to him before the weekend game at Albert Park by club chaplain, Bill Sharp.
Jamie topped the Twitter poll of Shire fans, beating off competition from club captain Derek Ure, Drew Ramsay and Kris Faulds who were the other players nominated by head coach John Sludden.
The keeper’s performances over February certainly merited the accolade – he made a number of tremendous saves during the month as Shire played three games without conceding a single goal.
With the programme of matches for the month of March now complete it will be once again up to the head coach to nominate his four top picks for the latest Player of the Month award.
Once we know who they are then we will launch another Twitter poll to let you decide who the winner should be, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.
