A charity which helps make the dreams of children with life threatening illnesses come true is the latest good cause to benefit from Shire’s Charity Challenge scheme this season.
When You Wish Upon A Star Scotland was nominated to benefit by young Shire season ticket holder, Jay Daly, and his mum, Tracey.
A cheque for £500.00 will be heading the charity’s way after the latest skills challenge which took place during half-time at last week’s game against Stirling University.
Shire striker Paul Sludden along with fans Gary English and Cameron Fleming took part in trying to fire a ball through a specially-constructed target in the goals.
Thanks are due to everyone who took part in this latest event.
When You Wish Upon A Star Scotland is the second charity to benefit through the scheme. Already the club has donated cash to Strathcarron Hospice as part of the scheme.
