Our Home kit this year will carry some familiar names as we again thank AIIB consulting our Chairman Alan Archibald’s company and long time sponsor and supporter Independent Asbestos who continues their backing for the Shire.
Shire are delighted to again be supporting a local good cause as we have done for a number of years now.
This year Shire have donated a sponsorship space on our home kit to Central Safe Drive Stay Alive a charity very close to our Kitman Alan Faulds heart.
Central Safe Drive Stay Alive is an annual event delivered to every 4th year pupil in the Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannan areas. This is approx 4000 young people aged 16 and over. A film is shown depicting a road collision involving young people. In between sections of the film, emergency services workers come on stage and describe their roles and responsibilities in the aftermath of the collision. After the film, real life family members of people who have been killed or suffered injuries go on stage describing how their lives have dramatically changed as a consequence of their own or a loved one’s choices. Recent statistics have shown a marked decrease in killed and serious injuries in the 16-24 year old age group. Central Safe Drive is committed to the continued downward trend of injuries in young people.
Shire a pleased to be able to support this local initiative which absolutely saves lives in our communities.
Kits will be available through our soon to be launched online shop. Details to follow.
