Player Update – Jamie Barclay

Over the next few weeks the club will keep everyone updated with what’s happening with the playing squad as we enter into the closed season.

After 202 appearances across 6 seasons, 58 clean sheets a club goalkeeping record and 139 consecutive appearances Jamie has informed us that he will be moving on during the summer.

Club Captain Jamie has played the last 139 straight competitive matches for the club and was the first Shire player to play 100 Lowland league matches for the club. Jamie first signed for the club on loan from Falkirk before joining the club twice during the last 15 years. Jamie also Captained us in our first cup final just over a year ago.

Everyone at the club wishes Jamie all the very best for his next move and thanks for some amazing saves over the years.

Good luck JB.
