Contract Extension – Jamie Dishington

We are delighted that Jamie Dishington has tonight signed a 12 month extension to his contract that sees him commit himself to the Shire until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Jamie has been outstanding since his arrival in the summer and having already scored 12 goals (11 League and 1 Cup) the club are pleased that one of the Lowland League’s top players has extended his stay.

Manager Derek Ure has never hidden how highly he rates Jamie and has been an admirer for a long time and when the chance came to sign Dish last summer he and the club took the opportunity to invest in the talented player. Derek said tonight “Jamie is a top talent who has already proved his worth to the club and he’s enjoying his football so it’s great we have been able to agree a deal that sees him extend his stay, he is an important player this season and will be next season also”.

Player Updates

Connor Greene – after a small setback during training a few weeks ago Connor’s recovery from his dislocated knee continues and he is back in the gym and hopefully will rejoin light training in the next few weeks.
